I know. It looks like a Disney princess glass, doesn't it? My Godmother gave this to me for my birthday ("a little something to remember me by" as if I could ever forget her). Isn't it beautiful though?
This tiramisu latte recipe is a little more involved than most of my coffee recipes, but it's totally worth it, as this is arguably my favorite coffee drink ever from anywhere. So let's get to it.
Recipe:
3 shots espresso, chilled or 1/2 C cold brew
Splash of milk
2 Tbs mascarpone cream
2 Tbs 1/2 & 1/2
1/2 Tbs maple syrup
1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
pinch of salt
cocoa powder for dusting
Pour coffee over ice. Whip remaining ingredients except for cocoa together and pour over iced coffee. Top with cocoa, and try to restrain yourself. Or don't. It's up to you really.
Note: If you're using freshly brewed espresso and want to chill quickly, add your splash of milk to the espresso to help cool it down before pouring over the ice. No one likes watered down espresso.
