Ingredients:
2 shots espresso or 1/2 C cold brew if you don't have espresso, in which case it should be called a shaken cold brew :p
1 Tbs brown sugar
Splash of cream
Splash of whole milk ( I use raw )
For cold foam:
1.5 Tbs cream or half and half
drizzle of maple syrup
Brew the espresso in a medium glass jar over brown sugar. Shake until sugar is dissolved and blend is foamy. Add milk and cream. Shake again (It's important to do this before the ice, to cool the espresso and not end up with watery coffee). Whisk together cold foam until thickened and the right consistency. I like to use a milk frother for this. Pour over ice. Shake again, and enjoy!
This is the espresso machine we use: Breville Creatista Plus . It's the second one that we've owned, and we've had it for about 3 years now and are quite happy with it. Our dream is to own one that takes grounds instead of pods, but...baby steps :D
